I Received A Trulever Corkscrew Ten Years Ago And Love It. Everyone Comments On How Great It works. So This Year I Ordered One For My Daughter For Christmas. I Plan On Giving My Other Daughter One After Christmas.I wish I would Of thought To Do this Sooner. Love Your Product & How Easy It Was To Order On Line.

Our last Trudeau corkscrew gave us at least 12 years of reliable performance.  When it finally broke I didn't hesitate to order a new one.  It is so easy to use - I can't use a regular corkscrew any more.

I am disappointed with the lack of smoothness and balky cork removal process. As a replacement for my broken lever, I've torn out the middle of corks for some reason. This never happened on my previous Trudeau device.

Good tool, unclear instructions December 26, 2011

I bought this item for my husband for Christmas. I needed a replacement for an old tool and thought that this one would fit the bill. When hubby attempted using it the first time, the only instruction we had was the illustrations on the box. This did NOT, however, help us to use the tool correctly. Not only did we not remove the cork from our Christmas wine, the cork tore in half and we had to remove the rest with another tool. When hubby suggested we try again, I first came to your website and found a much more clear illustration of how to use the tool, holding only the black half of the tool to the bottle to screw the corkscrew into the cork, then holding down the silver lever on the opposite side to remove the cork from the bottle. This worked perfectly. Please find a way to clarify the technique for using your tool. It is very good product, but many people will be frustrated by their experiences with it, if you do nothing about this problem.
